Social Emotional Counseling
Smidt Tech offers a wide range of services to meet the mental health needs of our scholars and families. Services are offered at school via our School Counselors, School Social Worker, School Psychologist, and community-based Mental Health Agency partners. Services and supports are free of charge and are provided to scholars based on need and availability, regardless of immigration or insurance status.
College Counseling
Our high school graduation requirements at Smidt Tech are in alignment with the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) “A-G” minimum undergraduate admissions requirements. We ensure that all of our scholars meet these requirements so they are eligible to apply to the colleges of their choice. Smidt Tech ensures that students apply to at least four Colleges/Universities. We offer college workshops, college fairs, and one-on-one guidance to help our students get into college.
Career Counseling
Smidt Tech provides students with workshops, one to one meetings, assessments, and career fair opportunities to help guide them in their career search.
