Directions

Part of what we do in National Honor Society is create projects to help our school or community. A project could be as big or as small as you would like. Projects that we have done in the past have been collecting canned food for needy families on Thanksgiving, organizing a group of students to clean the beach, and begun a recycling program to benefit the school. Please design a project that could be helpful to the school or community, and explain in as much detail as possible how your project would work. All essays need to be typed out, with Times New Roman font size 12, 1-inch margins all around. Please print your essays and attach them to your application.

Paragraph 1# Explain your idea for the project. Be as detailed as possible about your idea.

Paragraph 2# Explain who will benefit from your project. How will the project benefit them?

Paragraph 3# This is the most important paragraph in the essay, so please be as detailed as possible. Explain how you will accomplish your project. What steps will you take to ensure that the project is successful? How do you plan on accomplishing this? What connections or resources do you have that can make your project a reality (example: your parents work for a company that donates goods to needy families, your church collects donations, etc.)?
